The Global Stewardship Group
The Global Stewardship Group is a global non-profit organization that offers programs to companies and organizations with a variety of needs when it comes to plant biotechnology stewardship. GSG offers programs for management of transgene technology, other plant breeding innovations such as genome editing, as well as stewardship education. GSG was founded in 2008 as Excellence Through Stewardship. It started off with 11 member organizations and expanded to include a diverse participant group of more than 60 public sector research institutions, technology providers of all sizes, seed producers, industry service providers, and biotech associations from around the world.
